how to drag & drop iTunes files into a sandisk mp3 plah
I want to buy a simple sandisk music player for a child and transfer files from my iTunes library. Share the steps?

Kind of depends on the actual player. It should include instructions for how to do that. But, in general, just drag them from the Music App window to the player icon in the Finder.
No more steps involved.
Alternatively, you can drag the files directly in Finder from the Apple Music Media folder in the Music folder in your user profile.
