Apple Category mail system update

I hate this new update , I had 3 email accounts all coming in just fine on the " old" system. Now I only have one and even though I added the other two emails as accounts all the history has gone. I can access all 3 accounts by using gmail which I have gone back to. None of the solutions shown here seem to apply to my iMac . Apple STOP making changes to things - we hate them - you did it years ago to iPhones and everything was a mess and meant more work to reorganize . I guess maybe I will move away from apple products . Most of us are able to " categorize" our emails ourselves to a system that suits us not you .

One ****** off user . Don't want to keep learning new tricks .

iMac 24″, macOS 15.4

If you hate the changes so much, why do you keep downloading and installing them? If you stopped doing that, then you wouldn't see any changes.

As it is, if you've already installed the latest update, I'm afraid you have no other option but to View menu and turn off the new feature. Sorry.

You are right , thanks . I should have looked at what the changes would be before I installed the new update . I tend to think it's a security update but obviously not always . Not a very tech savy computer person here. I go to View Menu and see nothing that would let me turn off the feature so back to using google and gmail - it's ok in the end just annoying . Too many annoying things in life these days .

The addition of Categories to macOS Mail application was initially rolled out inmate recent versions iOS 18.x for iPhones / iPads

It appears, Apple wants to a coherent experience across both of there platforms ( macOS and iOS ) when it comes to the Mail Applications

The lines between iOS and macOS become more buried with each newer versions of both platforms
