Scammed via Apple Wallet; Who at Apple can I contact?
I was called by someone purporting to be my bank (They somehow already had my information regarding the cards in my Apple Wallet, and this is how I think they knew the bank to use). They claimed to be helping verify that supposed fraudulent activity had taken place when someone tried to access my Apple Wallet from another iPhone. Under false pretenses, I was then told that my connection would need to be reset and I needed to use a "digital debit card" they would provide me the details for, and I would add it to my wallet. I did not move the money onto this digital debit card, but I did authorize (Face ID) my own payment from my bank account into my Apple Cash. From here, the scammers were able to transfer the money off of my Apple Cash to something apparently called "Chime" without my authorization, but I am not able to see anything more than that recipient name and transaction ID.
I'm quite panicked, as I have no idea how they got this information, or if I am still at risk by having cards in my Apple Wallet.
