"Notify When Left Behind" option is not available on AirPods Pro

hi guys,

I'm using iPhone 15+ with iOS version 18.4.1, and Airpod Pro with version 5E135.

I noticed that the option "Notify When Left Behind" is not available for my AirPods, but it's available for my other devices like iPad.

anyone can advice?

Have you tried to set it up first?

Turn on separation alerts on iPhone or iPad

Go to the Find My app , tap Devices, then tap the name of your AirPods.
Below Notifications, tap Notify When Left Behind.
Turn on Notify When Left Behind, then follow the onscreen directions.
To add a trusted location, choose a suggested location, or tap New Location, select a location on the map, then tap Done.
Tap Done.

Important: If you want to receive separation alerts, make sure you allow notifications for the Find My app. See View and respond to notifications in the iPhone User Guide, or View and respond to notifications in the iPad User Guide.

If not, you might want to update your firmware version

For the AirPods Pro 2 the latest firmware is 7E93

For the AirPods Pro 1 the latest firmware is 6F21
