How do I fix random zooming and unresponsive shutdown after iOS 18.4.1 upgrade on iPhone 12 Pro Max?

Phone randomly seems to an unmanageable size where I can’t shutdown# and Restart to correct have to use the volume up volume down, tap and hold side button to get it to shut down, but this is annoying and it keeps happening at random times for no parent reason suspect the iOS upgrade as it was something new just shown up

My phone is not powering off Randomly it just Goes into a enlarged screen where you can’t get to any buttons and the only way to fix it so far has been to force shutdown#

Next time it happens try double tapping the screen with three fingers, and see if that will fix the problem. Sounds like Zoom may be enabling for some reason.

but this is happening At no apparent time or a reason, sometimes just pulling it out of my pocket and it’s already enlarged.

Go to: Settings > Accessibility > Touch. Now, turn off “Tap to Wake.” See if the issue persists after that. Also, triple click your power button. What happens when you do that? Can you share a screenshot of what you see after you do that?

I have to force shutdown# could this be the upgraded iOS incidentally,

A good idea is to force restart your device after every iOS update. Do that now: Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

it is a refurbished phone with a battery was changed and Desplaine unknown battery type

Has the battery been replaced recently? Or did this message suddenly appear? Or has it always been there?

therefore no way too set some battery functions under settings. My understanding is this will go on for another 14 days.

Interesting. Who told you that, out of curiosity?

I’ve switched off touch to week under settings, as far as new battery. I was told that it was refurbished when I I bought this from Back market, they did a refurbish.the message should go off after two weeks of use I am told.

Yes the message may go away, but the non-genuine battery will not. You brought the device on the black market? There’s no telling what all has been done with the device, and to what extent Apple parts were replaced with non-authentic ones.

Is it possible to reach out the the person you brought the device from? If so, I strongly suggest you try to get a refund. I suspect this may be just the start of the issues you’ll have with this iPhone.

I think you might’ve misunderstood me. I didn’t buy the phone on the black market. I purchased it online from a reputable business, Blackmarket.com a refurbishing site for higher in electronics.

I’ll check back in in a couple of weeks, I believe I might’ve sold it from the prior post you gave me concerning switching off setting in settings
