Express Transit Not Working

You’re not using it properly. The iPhone needs to just be on. Do not double or open to Wallet. Just place glass screen near reader. By opening Wallet or double clicking you’re telling Apple Pay you don’t want to use your Express Transit card (American Express), but rather choose a different card.

Are you making sure that the phone is locked before you try to use it? Have you tried any other cards?

It's also possible that the feature is not available with your transit system. Do you know if it works for other people on the same system?

Where is the failure? Are you unable to add the AMEX as the Express Transit card? Or is the problem that you can add it, but it doesn't work?
