How do I resolve AirPods showing incorrect battery levels?

hi, my AirPods say Theyre on 65% despite them being on charge for atleast over 3 hours. But, a panel came up saying they were on one hundred but it’s still saying Theyre on 65%. Anyway to fix this? Thanks.

Battery Widgets Showing Wrong Battery Percentage of AirPods When I connected my AirPods to my iPad, the pop-up that appears every time reporting the battery state of the AirPods displayed a different value than the battery widget. Attaching the corresponding image. Please assist me.

How old are the AirPods? When mine did this, they had defective batteries and where very old
