Will AirPods 4 work with iPhone 8 running iOS 16.7.10?

Hi everyone!

I want to buy the new AirPods 4 for myself.

My main device is an iPhone 8 running iOS 16.7.10, and I also have an iPad with iPadOS 15.

Could you please tell me if the AirPods 4 will work with my iPhone?

Will automatic switching between devices work?

And will they be linked to Find My (the Locator)?

The AirPods 4 will work find on iOS 16.7.1 along with the Spacial Audio for exceptional sound. Here is what I have found out that does not work:

The advanced Head Gestures to answer calls does not work.
Find My does not work. I believe it needs to be iOS 18, but honestly do not know why that is the case.
I don't have the ANC version, but would expect that does not work either without iOS 18.
