Magic Mouse Cursor Stopped Working

I recently updated to Sequoia 15.4.1, and my Magic Mouse's cursor randomly stopped moving. I can still left and right click. But no cursor movement.

I've tried wiping the sensor with a cloth. Turning it off and on. Disconnecting the Bluetooth and pairing again, but nothing is working. My MacBook Pro is an M2 Max 2023.

Has anyone encountered this and have a fix?

Mouse preference pane missing from Settings- Magic Mouse not working Recently my Magic Mouse stopped working on my work 2019 MacBook Pro. After fully charging it and it refusing to work or even connect via Bluetooth, I looked for the Preference pane in Settings (Ventura) and found it missing. Comparing the settings app with my personal M2 Macbook Air, I found the Mouse preference pane exactly where I expected it to be, below the keyboard pane. After many attempts to find some advice on the 'net, I decided to upgrade to Sonoma on both machines. Unfortunately, this didn't solve the problem. The Mouse won't connect nor does its preference pane appear in the list in the settings app. I've attached a screenshot showing the missing Mouse setting title. It should be between Keyboard and Trackpad. How do I rectify this?

Cursor problems with MacBook M2 chip After idle for a few hours the cursor will not work with a mouse-it worked flawlessly before the break. Sometimes the trackpad will work but not always. I've tried a wireless mouse and it was not recognized. I tried a mouse with a USB Nano receiver-that doesn't work either. In short, after on for a while and then off for an hour, the cursor on this brand new, out-of-the-box M2 chip is useless.

Mouse hover and click not working after Sequoia 15.3 update on MacBook Pro Since yesterday evening, my mouse has been having an odd problem, where the normal ability to see certain things while hovering over an option no longer appears, which can result in certain functions in drop down menus being annoying to access. Additionally, in some cases, the mouse is no clicking at first, and I have to click a second time, or the mouse clicks where I last clicked, despite the cursor being in a different location. At first, I assumed the problem would be with my mouse, however I have since tried 3 different mouses, and all have the same problem. The problem is similar to the one described in the following prior apple support link, except mine is not fixed with a mouse change. Mouse hover doesn't work - Apple Community . I am using Sequoia 15.3, the most recent update, on a MacBook pro computer with an Apple M3 pro chip. Any help would be appreciated [Re-Titled by Moderator]
