Issues with dragging and dropping downloads to desktop or folder on macOS Sequoia

Ever since I updated my Mac to the macOs Sequoia 15.4.1, I have not able to drag and drop downloads to my desktop or folder. I have to go to the downloads folder to add the files to my desktop or folder. Did they take the quick feature away to move the download in the image below to the desktop or folder?

My problem is connected, in that I have hard time to drag and drop items from a folder in list view.
I have to try over and over after I highlight the file I want to move.
It is not just unique to my computer. One of my colleagues also has MBPro M4 and has the same problem

I had a similar problem and it was fixed by changing the laptop's (AFAIR) Trackpad haptic feedback settings.

Thank you for the tip on the small magnifying glass icon, that is helpful. I use Safari at work and I have to download files all day long...I hate that I can't drag and drop to my desktop like I used to, this is so infuriating! I hope Apple fixes this in the next update.

No, they did not. It still works as before:

Revisit that downloads dropdown menu in your browser.

When you position your mouse cursor over the small magnifying glass icon you will see the file size replaced with "Show in Finder". Click the icon and you will be taken to the file's location wherever it has been downloaded to. From there you can manipulate it to your heart's content.

My problem is connected, in that I have hard time to drag and drop items from a folder in list view.

I have to try over and over after I highlight the file I want to move.

It is not just unique to my computer. One of my colleagues also has MBPro M4 and has the same problem with

Sequoia.

What gives?
