logitech circle view doorbell: "live" is not responding although camera is recording

Logitech circle view camera is appearing in iOS Home app and shows a thumbnail "live" view. But when tapped, I can't see the larger, full screen view. There is the spinner icon and then I get "no response this camera is not responding". If I exit that view, I still see "no response" in the thumbnail view, but when closing the Home app and restarting it, I see the thumbnail once again.


Also, Recording seems to work okay: I can get to that recorded footage on the full screen view but not to the "live" view.


Additionally, When ringing the doorbell, the Homepod responds correctly with the chime.


I rebooted it by holding down the power button and then plugging it to power using usb cable until magenta blinking led and then a beep; I then added it to Homekit using qr code per: https://doorbellexpert.com/how-to-reset-logitech-circle-view-doorbell/


The firmware is up to date according to web search (v 8.12.15)


Anyone else encountered this issue?
