Is it safe to turn off Messages feature in iCloud?
My iCloud has over 16,000 texts saved. Is it bad if I turn this feature off?

Should your Turn Off Messages Feature in iCloud:
Guess that depends on why. It's good for backing up. But, indeed, it would take up space. If not saved to iCloud, you might be able to go through your carrier's site and view them there. I can only go 90 days back, and no deleted messages are seen on their site.
Just Curious:
16,000 sounds like quite a bit. Are you getting unwanted messages of scam, spam, and vulgar type? There are plenty of ways to block them, and report them.
