Why am I still getting a device limit error on Apple TV after resetting the password?

Our purchased Rental won’t play- we get “ this content is playing on too many devices” even after we changed the account password. Apple TV+ also has no way to kill currently active sessions like Netflix. We reviewed all devices on the subscription and a family account the subscription is shar d with. We went to all devices and verified it wasn’t playing except on the single intended device (tv via play station 5)

If you are confident that there are no other devices using the Apple TV app with your Apple ID account (or Family Sharing accounts), and you still get this error, then please contact the Apple Support staff. Contact Apple for support and service (phone numbers) or start your support request online (chat/​email/​callback).
