Tried a lot of the basics. Might have to delete and try again.
phone and watch are not in sync.
I get some notifications on the watch, I get some on the phone, and I get others on both..
im missing texts randomly on both. It picks and chooses what it does..
iPhone 16 pro and ultra 2 both updated to newest software.

If your iPhone screen is active (unlocked) notifications will be delivered to your iPhone. If your iPhone screen is inactive (locked) notifications will be delivered to your watch. Notifications will be delivered to your iPhone OR your Apple Watch, but to both at the same time. This is by design and exactly how Apple designed things to work with Apple Watch. Personally, I use Haptics, set to Prominent, on my Apple Watch, which really taps my wrist so I am aware a notification has arrived.

Make sure you have notifications set up to mirror your iPhone. Also, make sure Cellular is working on your phone since your phone was down and off. That could be a cellular issue on your watch. No notifications will appear on your watch if you're not connected to a network without your iPhone nearby.
I’ll make some changes and see how that goes.. my phone was down and off and texts went to the phone but not my watch and a family was trying to get me in a emergency.,
