How can I increase the font size of Safari's toolbar?

I found the Accessibility display options to increase the font size in Finder and I know I can zoom in to get bigger fonts in Safari's webpages, but I cannot find how to increase the font size of the items in my toolbar. Any suggestions please? I am on Sequoia 15.4.1 on a MacMini4 with an Asus PA278QV monitor.

You're absolutely right that macOS lets you adjust display scaling and zoom, but it doesn't give you direct control over the Safari toolbar font size (like bookmarks bar text, address bar text, tab titles) in the same way it does for Finder windows.

Here are your best options to make the Safari toolbar fonts more readable:

🛠️ 1. Use Display Scaling (System Settings)

This changes the overall scaling of the interface, including Safari’s toolbar fonts.

  1. Go to  > System Settings > Displays.
  2. Select your Asus PA278QV monitor in the list (if using more than one).
  3. Look under "Resolution" and choose "Scaled".
  4. Select a larger scaled resolution (one that says "Larger Text").
This is the most effective way to make toolbar fonts bigger across the system.

🧩 2. Use Safari Extensions (limited)

While most Safari extensions target webpage content, a few might tweak interface aspects. One trick is:

  • "Safari Customizer" extensions (if available) might offer toolbar font tweaks. Most are limited, but it's worth checking the Safari Extensions Gallery or Mac App Store for updates.

🔍 3. Use System Zoom or Accessibility Tools

Not ideal, but useful occasionally:

  • Enable zoom via:
    • System Settings > Accessibility > Zoom
    • Enable keyboard shortcut zoom (like Control + Scroll)
  • Or use a magnifier window (under "Zoom style").
