How can one reset Safari to be in pristine (out-of-the-box) condition?

Hello 🙂

I have carefully read the information set out here:-

Bookmark websites that you want to revisit in Safari on Mac - Apple Support

However, I'd like to know if there is a simple method of putting Safari back to where it would have been when a computer was brand new. I am aware that this is not achieved simply by reinstalling the macOS.

Please advise.

Safari  “ Out of the Box Experience “ ?

A - Safari >> Settings >> Extensions tab

Remove any Third Party Safari  Extensions

B - Safari >> Settings >> Advanced

Using these setting seems to work well for me

C - Safari >> Settings >> Advanced

Show feature from  Web Developers  >> Empty Caches

D - Safari >> Settings >> Privacy >> Manage Websites Data >> Remove ALL

E - Evercookie

Notation:  I do not have the v1 folder on MyComputer  so it appears there are none of these evercookies

Close Safari first

On desktop go to GO and then GO TO FOLDER

Copy and paste this ~/Library/Safari/Databases

A  folder called _indexedDB

Open _indexedDB

See another folder called v1 and open it

The folder inside the v1 can be Drag and Drop to Trash

Launch Safari again and check if all is ok
