Can I safely remove an old MacBook Air serial number from my device list after replacing the motherboard?

To get more power and storage I replaced my macbook air motherbaord. Now my device list includes the old serial number and the new serial number device. Both are registered with Apple. I know I can always check which is which by looking at my settings but I'd rather have the old one offf my device list. I didnt purchase a warranty or service plan. Ok to delete the old serial number from my device list?

Yes, but if Apple replaced the logic board they would have programmed its serial number to match the one it replaced. If you performed the repair you should remove the old one. Failing to do that is certain to cause problems for subsequent users of it, assuming there are any.
