Athena,

The usual way is to get a copy of the audio files he wants you to have, copy them to your own computer or account, and then add them to your iTunes/Music library. (See Import music from a computer to Music on Mac - Apple Support ).

If your situation is different, pls post specifics.

Thank you, I don’t think it’s possible to do it any longer since Apple phased out iTunes into Apple Music thousands of his songs and CDs have been removed since he didn’t buy them from iTunes. He put them on his computer from an external drive. I do however have an old hard drive that has the songs and cds on so I’ll have to take it into a shop and get them to put it on some form of memory stick or something like that. Thank you very much for your help though

Hi Athena, The transition from iTunes to Music does not actually erase any music files, so they are likely on the computer where they were, and will probably show up in Finder. However, if you have them on an external hard drive that will work too.
