Viewing All 64 Steps in Logic’s Step Sequencer (Without Two-Page Limitation)

Hi Logic Pro team,

I’m currently working with the Step Sequencer in a 64-step pattern setup and noticed something that might either be a limitation or a bug:

At the moment, it seems Logic only displays 32 steps at a time, forcing the user to scroll or toggle to a “second page” to view steps 33–64. This workflow breaks the continuity when trying to create or edit full 4-bar patterns (especially for structured, grid-based genres like techno), where seeing the entire loop at once is essential.

❓My Question:

Is there a way to view all 64 steps at once, on a single page, without manually scrolling or navigating back and forth? If not, I’d like to suggest this as a usability enhancement. Full visibility over the entire step range would make Logic’s Step Sequencer vastly more usable for loop-based producers who rely on rhythm structure and repetition. Thanks for considering this. Would love to know if there’s a workaround or update planned.

Best,

SlowlySlowly

This is just a User Forum but if you would like to request that, make it known here:

I do not think you can see the Step Sequencer in 64 steps (even if you close the Library and Inspector Window) on a Laptop but I did try this on my Main System (where I use a Wide TV Display) and I noticed you can actually see the 64 Steps.
