How can I disable voice control on my Beats earbuds?

sounds heard by the microphone activate a feature I have disabled. It seems a common problem that useless advice is offered and apple has done nothing about it in years or given a single F. We spend a lot of money on these phones and accessories only to get a circle jerk runaround. Fix it apple, don’t tell me to turn it off or try to trick siri. I’m old and don’t have the time or patience for that. Im annoyed Im having to type this here after creating an account, rather than griping to customer service. 1:10 rating zero stars.
