Do different Magic Keyboard models within the same generation have varying key mechanisms?
I have the smaller Magic Keyboard for Macs (A1644) and a bigger one with Numeric Keypad (A1843). I know the keys in magic keyboard with numpad are bigger and spaced out. That’s fine. My main beef is the keys in the smaller keyboard without the numpad are more “clicky” and have comparatively less play. I loved how it felt so I bought the bigger one, the feel is different in this one.
My question: Do different models belonging to same generation have different mechanism? Which generation is the best if I prefer clicky keys with less play, like in the smaller Magic Keyboard A1644?
Optional query: What is the difference in key mechanism between different generations of Bluetooth keyboards for Macs? Can anyone point me to complete info on the mechanism of different models of keyboards of different generations? Help me out in my Magic Keyboard rabit-hole journey :)
