Can I burn DVDs from open Windows apps on a SuperDrive connected to an M1 Macbook Pro via remote access?

Can I burn DVDs from open windows apps, on my SuperDrive plugged into my M1macbook pro? The windows Apps are open on the Mac by remote access (Splashtop or Fusion ) to my office PC. The SD burns & reads all DVDs just fine when plugged into a USB- c port with an adapter.

Not unless the remote access software you are using allows for sharing the drive over the remote connection to the Windows PC.

The Windows PC, won't be able to directly see the drive over the remote connection in normal circumstances to use it unless the software allows for it.

Consult the remote connection software's user guide and support website for help with such features on the specific software you want to use.

Otherwise, anything you need to burn, would need to be transferred to the Mac and then burned from there.
