I am tired of 4 rings, then voicemai on my iPhone. I am continuously missing calls when away from phone as they go too quickly into voicemail. Does anyone else share my frustration? Where is the feature to control the number of rings on your iPhone for incoming calls prior to going to voicemail? Please advise.

Ask your carrier. They are the ones that set the amount of rings before voicemail and may be able to extend it.
My carrier, optimum, indicated it was a solely a hardware feature (if even at all) when I upgraded recently to iPhone 16 from iPhone 14. Just followed up with a different representative and he indicated the same. Seems they are unaware of their services that reside with them. Frustrating.

They are wrong. You may be able to dial in a code though
The carrier just isn’t allowing their support representatives to alter the default. Some discount carriers may not be allowed to alter the setting. AT&T was able to do it for me.
