Can different Trackpads have different settings?

I just got myself the first gen Magic Trackpad for my 13" MacBook Pro 2017, because I like having it connected to the TV with HDMI to watch something but also dislike having to get up and go to it every time it needs input. I really like the Trackpad and opted for it because, frankly, I don't bother with non-Apple trackpads for various reasons.

Unfortunately it feels distinctly different when using it compared to the build in one, mostly because the tracking speed seemingly is slightly faster. I would like to reduce it a tad, but apparently the Trackpad Settings are universal and affect all trackpads the same.

Is there any way I can set them up individually? Not only do they serve different purposes entirely, it's also very disorienting to switch between them.

I like the build in trackpad to be at 100% tracking speed giving it's "small" size, but the Magic Trackpad has a very different footprint and surface feeling, which is why it'd be very nice to have them set up slightly different, too.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 13.7

Maybe some mod can put this in the Mac community, sorry.

As you are Level 2, you can request it yourself. Tap on the little "I" in the circle at the lower right of your original post. From the dropdown menu that asks "Why are you reporting this?" select "Relocate Post." Put where you think it should go in the comments.

Best of luck.
