How do I find and cancel an unexpected $39 Nebula app subscription on iPhone?

Well, I think it's my duty to share this experience with you so that it doesn't happen to others..

Saw Nebula - horoscope and astrology app in the store, figured I’d play around with it for a minute. They had this $1 reading thing that sounded fun. Didn’t notice any mention of future charges, and nothing showed up under my Apple subscriptions, so I figured that was the end of it. Fast forward a few days later, I check my bank and see a charge for $39. No push notification. No email. Nothing in my inbox. Nothing in spam. I honestly started thinking maybe it was a different app.

But I double-checked, and it was definitely from them. And there’s nowhere inside the app that tells me what plan I’m on. No receipt. No plan details. The page where it’s supposed to show that info doesn’t load, it’s just stuck loading.

I wasn’t even that upset at first, I just wanted to see what I’d paid for. But not being able to find any trace of the subscription? That made me really uneasy. I tried contacting their support. Still haven’t heard back. Ended up freezing my card just to be safe. I think there was nothing else left for me to do😕

Ha, girl, I understand you like never before

My mum and I are really into astrology, sometimes we do it for a living, and I've come across this app in ads so many times

Imagine my surprise when I was charged $50 for the free trial

Yes, that's right, I was very upset and shocked. There is no reason for that
