Is Mac charging cable covered by AppleCare+?

Hi, I’d like to ask a question:

Is the Mac charging cable (included in the original box) covered by AppleCare+?

My cable has visible wear and exposed metal from normal daily use. I’ve seen posts where users in other regions successfully had theirs replaced under AppleCare+.

However, in China I was told this kind of accessory is not covered, even though I read the AppleCare+ agreement and it clearly states that Apple-branded accessories included in the original packaging are covered.

Why are Chinese users being treated differently?

What is the correct way to get the cable replaced under AppleCare+?

Thank you.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 15.4

all warranty should include everything in the box

doubt apples usa headquarters have some special agenda to try to scam chinese users out of their legal and fair warranty rules
