Setting up own screen saver on MacBook Pro M4
Is it possible to use and set up my own screen saver on my MacBook Pro M4 and if so, what file type should I use for this?
Thanks in advance for your response

The answer previously provided is for wallpaper, not screensavers.
Searching the web, I'm finding that most articles on making custom screen savers are out of date by 10-11 years, and the format Apple uses seems to change over time
Try searching the web for "mac screensaver format" and see if anything looks useful. Be sure to look at the dates of any articles, as many contain obsolete information.
You may need to join Apple's Developer forums to get answer here.
There is a cost for that.
Good evening.
Yes! This is definitely possible!
Go to Settings, and Wallpaper to customize your screen saver.
Anything. You can choose a video .mp4 file, or a image .png file.
Enjoy your Mac experience.
