Moving app to folder creates a duplicate icon on my iPad Pro

When moving apps from Home Screen to a folder, it duplicates the tab. Deleting or hiding the app still in the Home Screen, deletes both.

To fix this issue, all you need to do is:

• Move the respective app to the relevant folder. Don’t touch the duplicate app on The Home Screen
• Shut down your iPad fully & on again. When you are logged in, you’ll see the duplicate has gone
