notes with scanned documents converting to pdf failed in ios 18

i have scanned in multiple pages into notes 'cos it's a great ios feature and its easy to use until, all of a sudden notes now can no longer save and convert to pdf any more. I did 6 such saving & converting notes files to pdf files yesterday no problem, then all of sudden, today i could no longer do that. Well, it still saves but the pdf is a text.txt file with 1 line and thats the name of the notes file, no scanned documents ever got saved or converted ! does anyone experience anything like that ? I'd love to hear if there're any workarounds. Thanks all !

Notes Issues:

Did this all start after installing an update?

Restore from Today's Backup:

Restore your iPhone from a backup of it that is of the same iOS version, and see if this works once more. Be certain you back up your iPhone prior to the restoration(so that you can restore it, if the restore goes wrong).

Update your iPhone:

Back Up, First:

IMPORTANT: If you have an option to update, however, then be certain you backup your iPhone first. That way, you will have something to restore your iPhone from should anything go wrong with the update

Then, Perform the Ipdate...

Start with attempting an update through use of a computer. If you cannot use Wi-Fi, then use Ethernet. See my User Tip: Update your iPhone Using a Computer - User Tip. On the computer, you would connect it through Ethernet, going directly into your router. For a Mac (or PC) that does not have Ethernet, this would be the adapter to use: Belkin USB-C to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter - Apple. If you get the same error, the model is likely just not compatible.

To be honest, i dont know. i started this a few days ago after scanning a bunch of documents but all i know is that it worked for 6 times, then it stopped working all of the sudden. same steps, different results, and there's no update in between.
