icloud not receiving messages from instagram

I’ve been trying to recover my account on instagram but everytime i send a verification code to it, the code never goes through and i don’t get it. But on gmail it works fine it’s just my account is linked to icloud. I have already did the app support method nothing works I contacted apple support and it didn’t work out. Any ideas how to fix it?
