Transferring purchased AAC files from Music to Shokz OpenSwim

I can transfer (drag and drop) some purchased files easily. But some I can't. And when I try to do so, I see a red badge with the number one on the file I'm dragging. Does anyone know what the badge means, why I can't transfer some files, and is there any way to know that a file isn't transferrable before I buy it? I don't want to waste money on a bunch of files that I can't listen to using my OpenSwim headphones. Many thanks for your help!

The number "1" just means you are dragging a single file. (If you drag two files at once it will be a "2.")

If you purchased the song, make sure the file you are dragging OpenShokz is the purchased copy. If your library is in Songs view, the "kind" will be "Purchased AAC audio."

If you have an Apple Music subscription, it may have replaced your purchase with a subscription (DRM-protected) copy, which is not compatible with OpenShokz. In that case, delete the subscription copy and re-download a purchased copy.
