Eliminate up and down movement from walking footage
Is there a way to eliminate the bobbing effect from footage? It's the up and down movement that you see when you record scene while walking.
Thank you

Stabilization might help: Correct shaky video in Final Cut Pro for Mac - Apple Support
If there's something in the scene you can track, you could try this locked-on method.

As terryb said, there are two ways to control the movement of your footage: using FCP's stabilization function or tracking function.
Stabilization function
Tracking function
It's the up and down movement that you see when you record scene while walking.
Using the tracking function requires knowledge and experience. The reason is that you need to derive the appropriate parameter values based on how much space there is around the subject in the image and how far the subject moves. Could you upload the video to WeTransfer and share it with me? It depends on the condition of the video, but I can analyze the appropriate values.
Upload the video to WeTransfar →Send it to yourself →Post the link you got
Were you able to control the up and down movement after that?
Hi,
No, stabilization doesn't work for this kind of motion. I haven't tried the tracker, but since you offered, here is the file:
