How can I recover deleted music from iTunes?

Hello, I have recently had a mishap with a hard drive on which I stored my music.

All of it had been in itunes at some point. Is there any way to access what I have had in itunes in the past?

There is about 12 years worth of music and very little of it was purchased from apple. I am a radio presenter and need access to this.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

You could investigate the possibility of recovering deleted/erased files using a recovery tool such as Recuva or EaseUS.* You should recover the files to a new drive to avoid potential issues with overwriting existing data that might still be recoverable.

Once you've extracted all of the files that you can see Empty/corrupt iTunes library after upgrade/crash - Apple Community to potentially revert to an older version of your library database that had the listings for your content before you deleted it, should that be necessary.

* Other recovery tools are available. These two used to have reasonably useful free versions, but that may no longer be the case. I haven't downloaded either recently for testing. Avoid paying for other services that you don't need.
