With Apple TV app installed on PS5, I can't hear the actors voice, only the background sounds.

I recently installed the Apple TV app on my PS5, regardless of the language settings, I can't hear the actors' voices, only the background noise.

I have tried all the sound settings on the PS5 but no luck.

This could happen if you have your device(s) set for surround sound, but have actually stereo speakers. Then the dialog in the discrete Center Channel has no speaker for that channel.

Either have your media player (PS5) set to stereo, or have your audio system downmix to stereo.
