Pages and other applications crash when trying to print a document

Hello everyone. I have a MacBook Air M1 15.4 (24E248).

When I try to print any document or photo, the application either crashes with an error or simply does nothing.

The HP Tank 720 printer. Reinstalled the HP Smart app. Reset the printing system. I have added the printer again. Updated the system to the latest one. Nothing helped.

I can only print through the HP Smart app. But this is inconvenient and it does not support all files.

The HP Smart Tank 720 is supported by Apple's built-in AirPrint when the device is networked via Wi-Fi or Ethernet, and without USB cabling attached.

No need for the HP Smart app or downloading any HP drivers or software when using AirPrint.

It sounds to me as though you have the incorrect drivers installed for Sequoia v15.4 since multiple applications are crashing when attempting to print. Remove and reinstall the Printer allowing the Add panel to use AirPrint and not the HP drivers.

Here is the Add panel for my Samsung Laser printer. Notice the Auto Select when clicking on the printer entry. That is AirPrint being configured as there are no Samsung drivers for this printer for anything after Mojave. I am using Sequoia v15.4.
