Apple TV iCloud Photos slideshow order messed up

When showing a slide show on Apple TV from an album in my iCloud library, the order of photos is ok for a while but then suddenly switches to random (shuffle) order before reaching the end of the album. Sometimes after about 10 photos, sometimes after many more. Same behaviour for normal albums and shared albums.

This is extremely annoying. It used to work fine in the past.
