Fraudulent charge for LinkedIn premium after clearly clicking on link being offered a free one month trial

I clicked on a LinkedIn Premium free 1 month trial, but was charged $39.99 immediately after clicking on the link. LinkedIn acknowledged the wrongful charge but said I would have to request the refund from Apple. Apple denied the refund request for this fraudulent charge with no explanation of the denial. I have lost my confidence in Apple after wasting a lot of time to be refunded for something I was never supposed to be charged for in the first place.

When the system immediately charges a user for downloading an app offering a free trial, it's because the user has used a free trial for the app in the past.

Apple should not be charging me because LinkedIn identified and offered me a free premium 1 month trial, which is the link I clicked on. If there is a communication error between the LinkedIn app and Apple, I should not be the one who is punished for their error.
