I have changed the battery in my AirTag. I have put the corner back on the AirTag and have lined the cover up to the 3 holes. When I turn the cover clockwise to lock the cover on, it just falls off. What is wrong with the AirTag. I have a second AirTag and had no problem changing the battery in that one.

Did you make sure that after you replaced the cover, that you pressed down on the cover before rotating clockwise to lock it? Sorry, just need to make sure.
Since there are three slots/tangs, have you tried simply selecting another set of them to place the cover tangs into? You shouldn't have to, but it may be possible some type of debris has lodged itself in one or more of the slots.
