How to get Apple Music Student Discount as an international student?

I’m an international student currently studying in one of the best universities in China, and I’ve been trying to get an Apple Music student subscription for a while. Last year, the verification process required a third-party website called UNiDAYS, but since that site is not directly blocked here in China, Apple’s system kept giving me errors and verification problems. Recently, one of my friends—who is a resident here—managed to subscribe successfully, so I asked him how he did it.

I did everything he said, I even uploaded my ID card, which clearly shows my name and university, hoping that would help. This afternoon, they finally got back to me, and here’s what they said,"Your student status could not be verified. One or more of your documents is missing your full name, the name of your school, and/or enrollment dates for the current year."

so, I will just get Spotify or something that has better user interface and better music recommendations and I believe that is affordable as well. I would love a solution. thanks
