Changing a recurring event several times triggers a repeated notification

When I change a recurring event several times, each time I move the event, it triggers the notification "You're changing a repeating event. Do you want to move only this or all future events"?

I expect this notification/question to come up when I first change the event but not every time after if I happen to move the event again.

How can I stop this question from being triggered every time I move this same event again?
