can source material be exported from iMovie ?

in other words the sourced clips, post the edits.

Wondering if the article below can help:

I don't know if you are using the most recent iMovie app compatible with your MacOS version, or not.

May or may not make a difference. ( The app store usually has updates waiting, if available.)

thanks, but I was looking for the whole file, all clips at once in a folder type of export.

one by one would be a little time consuming.

so far it seems the only way is to "show contents" of the iMovie Library.

But I haven't tried so even that may not work.

Hi,


Be aware that if you remove a source file (original media) from the iMovie library it will disable that clip in all projects that may be referring to it. So if you take out all of your source material the clips in all of your projects will be replaced with "Missing File" thumbnails.
