How do I recover lost photos from iPad and iPhone?

I have both my iPad and my iPhone on the same account, I had my iPad NOT synced to the cloud, and when I had bought an iPhone 16 a couple days ago and signed in, they apparently synced again. All of my art that I saved in my iPad is now permanently gone. I can’t find it. All my family photos that I can never take again are gone, I can’t find them. All my important stuff is deleted, I don’t know where they are. I’m really distressed and I just want my stuff back, I don’t know why they synced again and I don’t understand why it deletes photos. I’m confused, I really need help.

"How do I recover lost photos from iPad and iPhone?"

-------

Transferring to a New iPhone:

Two Methods - Quick Start or iCloud:

Use Quick Start:

The transfer may have stalled. So, Quick Start is what you used here. To do so, I recommend you restore your new iPhone to factory settings, and then perform this once more, using Quick StartUse Quick Start to transfer data to a new iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Sync Through iCloud:

Sign in to the same iCud Account on both devices. Then enable items (i.e. Photos) in iCloud on both phone. All pertaining items will be accessible between the two devices. As an example, here is how to go about this for Contacts:

On Both iPhones...

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: Your Name (Top Item)
  3. Tap: iCloud
  4. Tap: Photos
  5. Enable: iCloud Contact
