Hi Team. I have an older Macbook Pro 2016 model. I cant seem to get drag and drop to work in finder. It makes managing files twice as hard. I am having to select, copy then paste the files , then go back and delete the originals. Drag and Drop no go.Please help.

I suggest you start by diving deeply into trackpad settings, and make sure the features you need for dragging and dropping are set to your liking.
Next is to carefully examine the MacBook all over. You are looking for any signs that the battery may be swelling, putting undue pressure on the bottom of the trackpad. Is the center of the bottom plate still up off the table, or is it pushed downward? Are seams being forced open?
