Fix messed up medication reminders in Apple Health after a time zone change

I recently traveled from EDT to PDT and then back. When I let the health app adjust for time zone changes, it doubled up medications for the day travelling west and it dropped future doses for the day when travelling east. This is not only just a terrible user experience, it's potentially very dangerous, medications are not something for this app to mess up this badly as it puts people's health at risk if they don't catch it.

Is there a way to easily fix this or do I need to just manage the bad information with fake entries or adding ad hoc doses for the day?
