Issues with iTunes for Mac

Hi all - I joined this forum to ask questions about issues I was having with my Apple Music (iTunes), and listed a series of queries, hoping for some shared love and ideas. I have some problems with how it behaves, including thumbnails displaying with odd white lines.

I've just heard the post was immediately removed "because it contained either feedback or a feature request that was not constructive." Please can I know where I can ask about functionality for the software or am I best going into a Genius Bar to learn from someone in person? I thought that I'd provided details of the software and a clear explanation of the glitches I'm having but perhaps I this isn't the correct place for app questions.

I've used it for 20 years and have an M3 Mac, so hope I know how it works. Any pointers welcome please. Thank you.

Thank you for your reply. I do appreciate it Jim.

That's most odd. I haven't filled in a profile (it's blank when I look at iot but I will attend to that later) - I created my online name for this post and only asked some questions about the Apple Music app (which was iTunes when I got my first MBP in 2008). I've a 2023 MBP M3 Pro on 15.3.2 which I use as a pro designer for a major UK organisation.

One of the queries I asked which was removed as inappropriate was that adding songs to 'Playing next' within about 20 seconds of the end of a previous song confuses it and it will often skip your preference...but then go to it much later (and sometimes repeat playing a track). Which for a symphony with multiple movements...doesn't sound good.

Thank you for any advice. I have a series of issues (including sorting 'O' with an umlaut is sorted as a letter at the end of the alphabet rather than with the other normal letter O titles). I am unclear why this wasn't a permitted question and will ask at the Apple Store.

Ah, I see "MacBook, OS X 10.11" under my name: that's clearly not right and I can't see how to change it. As I am new here today that is evidently a glitch in itself, I have no idea why that would show. I am on a totally different and more modern system, and also not in the US as the text at the bottom asserts.
