I just got an Ipad Pro 13” M4. Every time I open the facebook app and start scrolling, the app closes. Never had this issue with my old Pro tablet. Software was updated as I just bought this and during set up, it needed it. I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling it, still happens. Only the new ipad, not my Iphone or older Ipad Pro. Anyone else have this issue or know a fix?

Facebook still crashing if your using a Magic Keyboard on facebook and scrolling down on your own or on any facebook page if you remove the Magic Keyboard it won’t crash for some reason they still haven’t fix the crash with the Magic Keyboard using on facebook

Once again today facebook update but still no fix still crashes with Magic Keyboard

iPad Pro 13 M4 here, it’s still crashing on mine with the Magic Keyboard as well. Bug report sent to FB. Guess we’ll see. It’s interesting because this just started happening. Was working fine for the first month or so.
I have the same issue, and the new update today still has no fix still crashing when on profile page, scrolling down on my own timeline it just crashes it all started when iso 18.4 happened

You may not have realized this, but Meta has updated Facebook 13 times in just the last month for bug fixes. Many of those updates just introduce new bugs as they are clearly not testing their updates thoroughly before they are released and are relying on their users to be bug testers. The latest Facebook update was just 3 hours ago.
Same… I am using a 3rd party swivel keyboard and/or Magic Keyboard, it doesn’t matter which one I’m using…

I took mine off the keyboard and it works fine. Just like yours. I contacted Apple and they claim it's a Facebook issue even though it works when you take it off the keyboard. If you can, report to Facebook and Apple both if you haven’t already. The more they see the issue, quicker it can get resolved hopefully.
No fix yet either and I have talked to a couple guys at geek squad (Apple certified) and they never heard of it either. It only happens when I scroll a fb profile specifically and not just random scrolling. Also only in the app and not on the wedpage. I keep reporting to fb report a problem and reviewed on the app page too. Just need to keep bugging them I guess till enough reports get in.
I talked to Apple senior specialist again yesterday and we tried a bunch of different things again and it didn’t work. So it sounds like it’s definitely something on Facebook’s end and they keep making updates too, but not the correct one to fix it. Only suggestion is to keep bugging Facebook about the issue and sending them video evidence of the issue. The more people that do that the more likely they will be to fix it quicker.
With the magic keyboard attached? It wasn’t doing it on my 12.9 iPad until I deleted everything and then ended up having to reinstall everything again. Now it’s doing it on the 12.9. So must have something to do with one of the updates that occurred in between.
i figure out it was the magic keyboard that keep making it crash is that a software issue for m4 keyboard or it can be fixed with update?
Interesting as I was also using the Magic Keyboard. I will have to try it without it and see. I did report to Facebook too just in case.
Sounds like another bug. Hopefully with enough reporting they fix it quick
