Why does my mouse stop working when using Mail?

Within the last 2 upgrades my mouse will quit working in Mail. It works everywhere else and I can manually arrow to the Mail inbox item I want to view but have to quit Mail and restart to fix the mouse issue.


Other than upgrading the OS, I have not made any other changes and, again, the mouse only has issues within the Mail app. Once I restart Mail the mouse works fine for a few days then repeats the issue.


Any thoughts?

Continue to have this issue and wondering if I need to post in another section of the Community. I have to restart Mail every couple of days due to the mouse issue. What I have found out in my troubleshooting is the left click is what isn't working so I can't select an email or open it. I can successfully right click but still need to restart Mail to get mouse completely functional.


FYI this is an Apple Bluetooth Mouse, fully charged and no other issues with BT.
