How do I fix Spotlight freezing after macOS 15.4 update on MacBook Pro?

Have you shut down and restarted more than once since your "latest macOS 15.4 update" (?)

A SafeBoot Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support will sort many anomalies

Login and test. Reboot as normal and test. Caches get rebuilt automatically.

no resolve— reinstall the macOS on top of the existing macOS
