Fixing printing issue on my Canon printer with Sequoia update

I just downloaded Apple's latest edition of sequoia. I am having trouble get printer to obey setup for print job. I then downloaded canon's latest drive for MacBook pro 16in. with sequoia. When I set up a print job for a custom paper size I either get nothing or the printer prints on the edge of the paper. I have been doing this kind of thing for years. Now the printer doesn't seem to be following presets I have set up for the task

I reinstalled the driver. I know it works for printing standard paper sizes. I was using a size I created (which I have done in the past), but it still seems to act oddly. For example when I set a paper orientation it switches it to the opposite of what I chose. I will continue to work on it.
