How do I add train and plane tickets to Apple Wallet?

Many people confuse the two Wallets that iPhones seem to have. Apple Wallet app is where your tickets are.

The second Wallet & Apple Pay, are in the Settings app. In the Settings app, we can modify settings for our apps, including Wallet app, and modify settings for services, like Apple Pay. But tickets, passes, keys etc. are in the app, not settings .

Some people think when you double click you open the Wallet app. Double clicking activates Face ID and prepares your default payment method for use with Apple Pay. But it does not open the actual app.

Tickets and boarding passes are added using the issuer’s website or mobile app. Tickets can only be added to Apple Wallet app on iPhones and Apple Watches.
